Celestina Davidson, Veterinary assistant
Celestina grew up in Bellingham, Washington, and completed her undergraduate degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation at the University of Washington. She then worked in wildlife research for 3 years, studying everything from otters to bobcats to wolves in Montana and Washington. She soon realized she was most interested in the medical aspect of research and switched to working in the veterinary field. In early 2021 she began volunteering with Northwest Mobile Vet and realized large animal medicine could be her calling. She will be attending OSU’s Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine in the fall and plans to focus on mixed animal medicine. She is particularly interested in working with small ruminants and hopes to find ways to incorporate her wildlife experience.
In her free time, Celestina enjoys hanging out with her dog Dennis, hiking along the Columbia gorge, snowboarding, climbing, road tripping, and finding new places to camp and swim.
