FAQ

  • Cows – Please have animals secured in a small accessible area prior to our arrival. If you have a chute, please have animal prepared to be loaded into the chute. If animals are not caught prior to our arrival, we will need to charge 25 dollars per 10 minutes plus associated milages fees even if they are unable to be contained. In some specific cases we will need to dart the animal in order to perform specific medical procedures if the animal is unable to be caught/restrained and is in a field/large pen.

    Goats, Sheep, Llamas, Alpacas – Please have animals secured in a small accessible area prior to our arrival. Even if the animals are nice and come to you for treats, they soon recognize who we are and will often run away! Due to this, we ask that you have them secured prior to our arrival. If animals are not caught prior to our arrival, we will need to charge 25 dollars per 10 minutes plus associated milages fees even if they are unable to be contained.

    Pigs – Please withhold food the day of the appointment in case anesthesia is needed. Water can be given at all times, and food can be given the night before. Please have animals secured in a small accessible area prior to our arrival! Even if the animals are nice and come to you for treats, they soon recognize who we are and will often run away! Due to this, we ask that you have them secured prior to our arrival.

  • Prescription Refills

    Many prescriptions can now be found using our online portal. Please visit VETSOURCE to request medication. If medication is not found on this portal, please reach out to us directly.

    If a prescription refill is needed, please provide at least 2 weeks notice to ensure your refill is provided on time.

  • Please call 503.765.6702 and explain what the emergency is. Please provide your first and last name, address, and an explanation of the emergency you are experiencing. The on-call doctors will do their best to return your phone call in a timely matter, but please understand we may be out on calls or dealing with other emergencies.   • Yes, our vehicle is stocked with a wide variety of medication. If we do not have the medication on our trucks we will send you a prescription via our online pharmacy (VETSOURCE) that will be delivered straight to your door!

  • To ensure dedicated care for each of our patients, we have a policy for our first-time clients. A $100 deposit is required when scheduling your initial appointment. This deposit is fully refundable with a cancellation or rescheduling notice given at least 2 business days in advance of your appointment. This policy helps us better manage our schedule and provide timely, high-quality care to all our patients. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you and your animals.

  • For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, credit cards, and CareCredit. Payment is due at the time of service to ensure your pet gets the care they deserve without delay. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about your options!
