Lindsey KALUZA, Veterinary assistant

Lindsey is originally from Southern California and moved to Oregon in 2016. She loves to explore Oregon through nature hikes, trips to the coast, and thrift shopping to add to her growing collection of books. Lindsey will receive her undergraduate degree in Biology from Oregon State University in the spring of 2022 and, in the fall, will continue her education at the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine. While she’s always had a passion for animals large and small, it was only after shadowing Dr. Blake that Lindsey found her interest lied in large animal medicine, specifically in small ruminants! Both in and out of school, Lindsey’s favorite activity is to work with animals in any way possible. In her last year at OSU, she enjoyed gaining more horse experience at the equine center and joining clubs that allowed her to work with sheep, goats, and cows!
