Dr. Taylor Mittleider
Dr. Taylor Mittleider was raised in a small town in northwest Georgia. She grew up on a small family farm with a menagerie of animals including cattle, sheep, chickens, goats, horses, and the occasional pet raccoon. She completed her undergraduate degree at Southern Adventist University in Tennessee and took a year off to live abroad in Peru with a medical missions group before continuing her education. She pursued her doctorate of veterinary medicine degree at Lincoln Memorial University and graduated in May of 2022. Outside of class, Dr. Mittleider spent time researching large animal reproduction, specifically embryo transfer and in vitro fertilization in cattle and small ruminants. She has presented her research at the Society for the Study of Reproduction (SSR), International Embryo Technology Society (IETS), Society for Theriogenology (SFT), and American Embryo Transfer Association (AETA). In her free time, Dr. Mittleider enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and running, Crossfit, playing Sudoku, and spending time with her husband, their two dogs Preacher and Sammie, and their cat Gayle.
